Repeated muscle contractions from frowning, squinting, or raising eyebrows cause the skin to furrow and fold, gradually resulting in the formation of facial lines. Botulinum Toxin A is a prescription-only treatment, which works beneath the surface and temporarily reduces the underlying muscle activity that causes moderate to severe frown lines, crow’s feet, and forehead lines – to help them look visibly smoother and give the face a more refreshed appearance.

Botulinum toxin is also clinically used to treat non-aging aesthetics needs, namely for excessive underarm sweating, “gummy” smile correction, and treatment of excessive teeth grinding.
